St. Cuthbert's Primary School is a voluntary aided School. The age range is 4 - 11 years and there is a nursery class attached. The school is committed to providing a high standard of education within a welcoming, happy and secure environment. The children are largely drawn from within the boundaries of St. Cuthbert's parish. Mrs M Gibson retired as Headmistress in the Summer of 2004, after nine years in the post. 

Miss Mary Frain was appointed in the July and began in the new school year in the September 2004.
